THE GEORGE & KATHY HICKER "CHAPTERS FOR SUCCESS" FUND
The Chapters for Success program provides textbooks and software for current and former foster youth, low-income, and at-risk youth, ages 17-30.
This is a referral-based program.
A recent study by the College Board found that the yearly average cost of textbooks at an in-state public four-year university to be $1,200 for a full-time student. Echoes of Hope assists students with up to $300 per semester throughout the year. Through our book fund, we strive to ensure that our youth do not fall behind or drop out of school, but instead have the necessary resources available to them.
Echoes of Hope supports students at over 50 college campuses through their Guardian Scholar programs.
Requirements:
Must be enrolled in community college, 4-year, or vocational school
